What ReturnReady is
ReturnReady is an information-collection and workflow tool. It helps an accounting firm gather documents and answers from clients, see what is still missing, and track readiness.
ReturnReady does not prepare tax returns, does not file returns, does not calculate tax liability, does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and does not guarantee that every item required for a return has been identified. All professional judgment and final review rest with the firm.
Readiness scores and document identification
Readiness scores describe how much of the firm's own requested information has arrived. They are not an opinion on the accuracy or completeness of a tax return.
Document identification is a suggestion based on the filename and any machine-readable text in the file. A member of the firm decides whether each suggestion is correct.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for keeping your credentials secure.
You may not attempt to access another firm's or client's data, probe or disrupt the service, upload malicious files, or use the service to break the law.
Firm administrators are responsible for who they invite and for the roles they grant.
Your content
You keep all rights to the documents and information you upload. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy and Data processing page.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Maintenance and third-party outages can interrupt the service.
Reminder emails depend on a third-party delivery provider and on correctly configured sending domains. Delivery is never guaranteed.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or puts other customers at risk.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReturnReady is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for penalties, interest or professional consequences arising from a tax return.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced to firm administrators by email.
